URA Board Approves Next Step

Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Tim Vawser with EHM Engineering says, "Failing infrastructure, older sewer mains, older materials, failing roads. It's just something that happens due to age."

That's why many of the streets, along with water and sewer lines, need to be replaced in Old Towne Twin Falls.

Today the Urban Renewal Board approved the bid for street improvements and water lines on Fourth Avenue South in front of Glanbia's Cheese Innovation Center. That includes curbs, gutters, and sidewalks on Glanbia's side of the street.

The price tag is just under a quarter of a million dollars, and the bid was awarded to McCoy Construction.
