URA Moves Forward With Downtown Parking Plan
Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) The Twin Falls Urban Renewal Agency is moving forward with a plan to improve parking in the downtown area.
Monday the agency approved the construction of 140 new parking spaces for the new Glanbia headquarters. PMF was awarded the contract. It will cost over $230, 000 An order to improve 4th Avenue South was also approved for the Glanbia project. "We'll just basically fix up that whole block on 4th Avenue between Shoshone and Hansen St.," said Melinda Anderson, Economic Development Director, Twin Falls. The third item approved is a study of the infrastructure downtown. It will be used to assess any future problems that would impact development in the area.
