US 93 / I-84 Intersection Now Under Construction

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) The long-awaited second phase of the Interstate 84 and U.S. 93 intersection is now underway.

Starting immediately, crew will begin replacing the eastbound I-84 bridge.

Crews will also be realigning the eastbound on and off ramps, and installing traffic signals at the south end of the junction.

Traffic on I-84 will be shifted onto the westbound lanes as the eastbound bridge is removed and replace begging in May.

Traffic delays on 93 can be expected as soon as work on the bridge begins.

Work should last a few months, finishing up sometime this summer.
