University Of Idaho Staff Take Agriculture Tour
Jerome, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Staff members from the University of Idaho got a first hand look at how we do agriculture here in Magic Valley.
It's part of a two and a half day tour that started in Moscow, and has continued through Grangeville, Cascade, and Boise. One of this afternoon's stops was the Si-Ellen Dairy southeast of Jerome. Rob Spear, Athletic Director for the University of Idaho, says, "I think it's very important for people working at our institution that has a statewide mission to get out and see the impact that our school has on all areas of the state of Idaho." Spear says the bus tour has seen everything from a logging mill to this dairy farm. After visiting Hailey and Silver Creek today, the group will stop off at the Aquaculture Center in Hagerman tomorrow to wrap up their tour. July 18, 2012. Comments ( Most Viewed |
