Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) The 21st annual used book sale kicked off Friday.
The doors at the Third Avenue South location opened up Friday morning at 10 a.m.
The event will raise money for the Twin Falls Public Library.
Executive Director of the Library Foundation, Diane Von Engelen, talked about why this annual event is so important to the community.
"One of the things we do is recycle books from the community. The community donates books all year long to the library, and then we recycle them and everybody gets a chance to use them. It raises funds for us to help the library with books and materials and special projects," she explained.
Doors close at the book sale Friday at 7 p.m., and it will continue on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
If you are looking for an even better bang for your buck, books will be sold at half price starting at 2 p.m. Saturday, lasting throughout the rest of the evening.
