VFW Holds Early Flag Day Service

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) The Veterans of Foreign Wars honored veterans from the Korean War, World War II, and Vietnam. They held a special Flag Day ceremony in Twin Falls today. The service took place at River Ridge Nursing Facility on Filer Avenue West.

Ronald Masoner, US Army Air Corps veteran, says, "I spent a year in Japan just after they surrendered. The surrender was August of 1945."

Masoner enjoyed his time overseas, and says he got to see a lot of Japan while he was stationed there. He explains the Army Air Corps eventually split off to become the US Air Force.
