UPDATE: Vehicle Seriously Damages Business Building In Twin Falls

UPDATE 4/29/2014 – Twin Falls police have released the name of the driver. Authorities say Leslie Hernandez, 23 admitted she was the driver and there were no other passengers in the vehicle. She did admit that she had been drinking. She was booked for Driving while under the influence, Possession of Marijuana and possession of Paraphernalia.

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV) - Twin Falls Police say the abandoned 360 Main Street Bistro and Lounge was severely damaged early this Monday morning after a car drove through the front of it. When officers arrived at 1:43 am a female was located nearby needing medical assistance. She was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries. The woman claims she was not the driver of the vehicle. She told authorities that a man was driving and that she and another female were passengers. Neither the male nor the other female were at the site. Charges are pending following the completion of toxicology reports. Authorities say the driver may have been leaving a neighboring business when the accident happened. The police have yet to release the woman’s name. According to reports, the woman was taken into custody.
