Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) A group of veterans rode into Twin Falls Friday evening on Can-Am Spyders.

Project Road Warrior has partnered with Can-Am Spyder to offer memorable adventures to wounded, ill or injured veterans.

The organization says it provides the vets with a critical step in their rehabilitative journey.

Co-director of Project Road Warrior Craig Anders says the trip is about more than just a good time, "We want to get out there and get them back to what they are really comfortable with. Type-A personalities that like to do adventures things and get the freedom and independence back in their lifestyles that allows them to feel whole again."

The group kicked off the cross-country trip Thursday in Seattle, and plan to end up in Tampa on the 14th.

If you would like to follow them on their journey or to get involved with the organization, head to http://www.projectroadwarrior.org.
