Victim Identified In McCain Food's Fatal Parking Lot Accident
Burley, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Cassia County Sheriff Randy Kidd has identified the person killed in a Friday, March 2, 2012 parking lot accident at McCain Foods. Sheriff Kidd said the driver of the pickup who was pronounced dead at the scene was identified as Santiago E. Maestas, 59 of Albion. The driver of the other pickup was identified as Daniel Hood, 59 of Heyburn. Hood was transported to the Cassia Regional Hospital. In a news release, Sheriff Kidd said that. “It appears that a medical problem may have contributed to the accident. The investigation is ongoing.” Maestas has been identified as an employee of McCain Foods and Hood is the spouse of another employee.
