"Wagon Days" Rolls Around Again
Ketchum, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Up north in the Wood River Valley, they're celebrating Wagon Days this weekend.
Streets around the Ketchum City Square were blocked off, and activities were set up for kids of all ages. "Wagons Ho" had plenty of branding irons in their fire today. Marla Clevenger with Wagons Ho says, "We're here to support Wagon Days, just to provide an activity for the young guys and get them to participate in the day." The Wagons Ho activity for kids was making signs out of weathered wood, and then decorating them by branding the wood. Clevenger says this is their 22nd year, and they're usually a "field trip for fourth graders." Wagon Days continues tomorrow with the Silver Car Auction from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Sun Valley Resort. The Pro Rodeo Finals will be held at 3:00 p.m. at the Hailey Rodeo Grounds. Admission is $12 for adults and $5 for children. Sept. 1, 2012. Comments ( |
