Water Commission Meets In Jerome
Jerome, Idaho (KMVT-TV) This Thursday a special commission designed to look after the safety of our water met in Jerome to talk with state level officials about the latest news regarding our water.
The Middle Snake Regional Water Resource Commission which is made up of 5 counties across Sothern Idaho held Thursday’s dinner meeting to meet with locals and state representatives and discuss any and all questions of concerns about our water. The mission of the Middle Snake Water Commission is to work with and advise these state and congressional legislators, County Commissioners, and local, state and federal agencies on all matters concerning water quality and quantity within the region. A few of the main issues brought up in tonight's meeting included water quality and the issue of maintaining an adequate water supply for our local farming community. Comments ( |
