Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) A well known name in the Idaho culinary world was in Twin Falls this Friday offering a special class designed to teach the techniques of preparing raw cuisines.

Chef Melissa Mango started her culinary path here in Idaho; she is credited with stating Idaho's very first raw food resource and catering service.

But this Friday the raw foods chef was at the Twin Falls Senior Citizen Center to show a small room of students some of her best recipes.

On Thursday night her class was introduced to the world of cooking raw Italian classics.

Then on Friday evening her student chefs were shown how to prepare some classic Thai and Asian Cuisines.

Including a no beef and broccoli stir fry, along with a mango–lime ice cream.

The class will wrap up Saturday as the students will walk though the world of guilt free deserts such as black berry pie and lemon cheesecake.
