Wendell's Operation Facelift Kicks Off This Week
Wendell, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Wendell is one of the Magic Valley towns participating in this year's Operation Facelift.
Thanks to "Dairy Days" this past weekend, Wendell's facelift has been delayed a little bit. However, this week's project will involve Peterson Insurance on Idaho Street in Wendell. Two other projects are slated to begin later this summer. Shelly Harrall, the Secretary/Treasurer of the Wendell Urban Renewal Agency, says, "The New Life Community Church youth group is going to help us out tomorrow evening starting at 6 o'clock with Peterson Insurance. They're going to come out and help us scrape and paint and dazzle them up." Harral says the Ace Theatre and the Wendell Snack Bar are likely candidates for more Operation Facelift projects this summer. She says two Boy Scout troops have agreed to help "clean up and paint up" Wendell sometime in July or August. June 18, 2012. Comments ( Most Viewed
