Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) The Hannah Anderson case is continuing to capture headlines.
The latest news comes from the 16 year-old kidnapping victim herself.
Yesterday, Anderson answered questions via social media about her traumatic ordeal.
She fielded questions on the site ASK-FM about her abduction by the man she knew as Uncle Jim, James Dimaggio.
With such a traumatic incident that took place the teenager is now making her ordeal known to the public in a very personal way.
We wanted to know how locals Idahoans felt about Anderson being so forthcoming about her ordeal.
"You know, given what she's done through... I mean, I personally wouldn't really wanna talk about it. But if that's how she feels she wants to do then go ahead. But personally is would want to talk about it."

"I don't see a problem with it... I think that maybe the more people know about her experience them more people can protect themselves for it happening to them or their families."

According to Hannah, Dimaggio threatened to kill her if she tried to flee at any point.
