Which Halloween Candy To Avoid?
Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Halloween is only two weeks away, but Halloween candy is available just about anywhere you look.
We spoke to a local dentist who says it's ok to eat the candy, just in moderation and don't forget to practice good oral hygiene. However, there are a few types of candy that he highly recommends to avoid. "Especially if they have dental work done, especially for kids who have stainless steel crowns, spacers, avoid the sticky stuff, the Sugar Daddys the Laffy Taffy , anything that might remove those restorations that we're placed and then the hard candies," adds Dr. Bryce Barfuss, Summit Dental Care. Summit Dental Care will provide a Halloween candy buy back program on November 1st from three to six. For every pound of candy a child brings in, the office will give them one dollar, plus some other goodies. The candy will go to the troops overseas. Comments ( |
