Wine Tasting, Dinner Raise Money For Local Police Families
Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) 12 years ago, Corporal James Moulson was killed in the line of duty during a drug raid in Eden.
Since then, the family of the fallen Jerome County Sheriff's Deputy has sponsored a benefit dinner every year. The Rock Creek Restaurant hosts the event, which will be held this Sunday afternoon beginning at 12:00 noon. The money raised will benefit local law enforcement personnel. Stan Thomas, Owner of The Rock Creek Restaurant, says, "For the police department in some areas like scholarships, a little bit of money for police families that possible have problems, have some needs, maybe medical problems, things like that." A wine tasting with appetizers begins at the Rock Creek Restaurant on Addison Avenue West in Twin Falls. That's at 12:00 noon this Sunday, January 27th. The fundraising dinner begins at 1:00 p.m., and they'll be serving prime rib, shrimp, and chicken. Tickets are $35 each. You can get yours at Dick's Pharmacy and the Rock Creek Restaurant.
