Woman Taken To The Hospital Following Two-Vehicle Crash
Jerome, Idaho (KMVT-TV) A woman is taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle accident near the Flying-J Saturday morning.
65-year old Kathleen Hill of Hoquiam, Washington was headed north on Highway 93 in a 1996 Geo Metro when she took the Cloverleaf Ramp towards I-84 at Exit 173. That's when police say she did a U-Turn and went the wrong back to US 93. Hill then turned north into the inside lane of travel. Meanwhile 30-year old Buhl resident Hector Miramontes was also headed north in the right lane, driving a 2001 Kenworth Semi Tractor. Hill turned in front of Miramontes and was struck by his truck. She went to the hospital in Jerome. One lane of Highway 93 was blocked for about three hours while crews worked to clear the lanes. The crash is still under investigation. Comments ( |
