Woman Wants To Carry American Flag To UT, Relay Style
Rupert, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) After nearly being murdered, a local woman is trying to raise awareness and honor for first responders.
Tricia Fain tells Idaho's First News she was nearly killed by her ex–husband in Utah. Now she's honoring the first responders and shelter for saving her life and the lives of others in general.
This by forming a 150–member relay group this weekend, starting at the Rupert Square and ending in Logan, Utah.
They will carry the American flag and give it to Fain's first responder. Fain says she's received support from companies such as Pepsi–Cola and Walmart.
"Every day as we send out this message, we're having more and more people jumping on board. It's pretty exciting to see people being patriotic and wanting this flag to stand," adds Fain.
If you would like to help support the cause and be a part of the group, please call 219-6737.
Her deadline to arrive in Logan is Tuesday.
