Xavier Charter School Celebrates eXalt Week

Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) High schools all over the United States have homecoming week in the fall, and Xavier Charter School in Twin Falls is no exception.

While they didn't have a football game, Xavier students dressed up as fictional characters ranging from Harry Potter to the cast of Peter Pan. Earlier this week students in each grade wore their class colors, as well as saluting the intellectuals among us by dressing as nerds.

Xavier student Simon Halsell says, "All I had to do was tuck in my shirt, like I did today, 'cause this is how I dress every day, without the jacket."

Senior Kailee Hudson says, "In the end, it's all about being a leader, and that's what the message of Xavier is, to teach us to be the next leaders, not the followers."

The school's "eXalt" Week stands for Xavier Leadership Training. In addition to Monday's Performing Arts Day, students also dressed up like characters from movies including Star Wars or The Lord of the Rings.
