Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) It's spring break in much of Magic Valley next week. If you're an experienced parent, you've already made plans to keep your kids busy. But if you haven't, here are some possible ideas.

The cover on the Twin Falls City Pool helps keep swimmers warm all winter long, and for spring break as well. Starting this weekend, Y facilities all over Twin Falls will have special spring break activities planned.

John Pauley, Aquatics Director for the Twin Falls YMCA, says, "We're actually going to start spring break on Friday March 22nd with our Midnight Splash. Come at 9 o'clock, swim in the pool with the lights off. It's a ton of fun, kids love that whenever we do that."

The College of Southern Idaho's Herrett Center for Arts and Science is open beginning Tuesday March 26th with shows at 2:00 and 3:30 p.m. each day. The planetarium director says every single presentation they show will be different.

Rick Greenawald from the Faulkner Planetarium says, "We've got shows for all the way from young kids to older kids. Mom, dad, grandparents, if you're looking for something to do with the kids, we've got something here Tuesday through Friday, even Saturday also for all ages."

The City Pool will also host the Easter Egg Dive, which is free for everyone, and begins at 12:30 p.m. next Saturday, March 30th.

Pauley says, "We also have at our Canyon Rim Y our youth fitness classes going on in the morning, which is a lot of play, a lot of fun. We'll also have some special Zumbatomic classes for kids in the afternoon at Canyon Rim Y on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday next week."

The Twin Falls YMCA website is www.ymcatf.com , while the Herrett Center's site is at herrett.csi.edu .
