Two vehicle car accident in Gooding County claims one woman

Authorities say a 33-year old Gooding woman has lost her life following a vehicle accident this morning at around 8:30 in Gooding County. Idaho State Police say Laura Seamons died at the scene after emergency crews tried to extricate her from her vehicle. Authorities say the accident happened at the intersection of State Highway 46 and 2100 south just south of Gooding. They say Terresa Garcia, 26 failed to stop at the stop sign and struck Seamons vehicle. A 13 year old boy and a 5 year old girl were in Seamons car, but were not seriously injured. All involved in the crash had been wearing seat belts. State Highway 46 was closed for several hours while authorities conducted their investigation. The children and Garcia were all treated and released from a local hospital.
