What's in your water? The Idaho Department of Agriculture knows, and that information is now available online.

One of two seven–year studies outlines the water quality results for Twin Falls County, which the Department of Environmental Quality says has the second-highest nitrate priority in the state.

71 private wells were monitored for the study between 1998 and 2004. Another seven–year study for the same period shows how much pesticides and nitrogen isotopes were present in domestic wells in Cassia County.

You can see the results for yourself by going to the Dept. of Ag.’s website.
