Third Suspect Charged In Murder Of Marine’s Wife
Vista, California (CNN) A third person was charged with murder Tuesday in the California death of a deployed Marine's wife.
Dorothy Maraglino pleaded not guilty in the murder of Brittany Killgore, whose body was found April 17th. Maraglino's bail was set at three-million dollars with the next hearing set for May 22nd. Deputy District Attorney Patrick Espinoza says co-defendant, Marine Staff Sgt. Luis Ray Perez, had taken the victim on a date the last night she was seen alive. Miss Killgore was picked up by Mister Perez, the co-defendant. Shortly after he picked her up, she texted to a friend the word 'help.' Shortly after that text, Mister Perez texted Miss Maraglino telling her to come home to the home in Fallbrook. She did at that time. That is the location that the investigation revealed information that the killing took place. Maraglino is Perez's girlfriend. Also charged with murder in the case is Jessica Lopez, who lived with Perez and Maraglino. No motive has been given for the killing. Authorities say the victim had recently filed for divorce from her husband who was serving in Afghanistan. Comments ( |
