Attorneys Allegedly Plant Drugs At Son’s School

Irving California (CNN) A couple in Southern California is accused of planting drugs in the car of a parent volunteer at their child's school in hopes of getting her in trouble. It all started back in 2010. Jill Easter complained the volunteer wasn't supervising her son properly at the Plaza Vista School in Irvine. Police say Easter's husband, Kent, put marijuana and pain medication in Kelli Peters' unlocked car in February of last year, then called police. Kent Easter allegedly told police he saw Peters driving erratically and hiding drugs in her car, then parking at the elementary school. Police say he called from a payphone at a nearby hotel.
"They were able to use surveillance video and identify Kent Easter as the person who was using that telephone at the time." "They tried to make me look like the worst person you can be when you're involved with a school. It just ... I wouldn't have been able to see my daughter again I don't think. You know, those are the nightmares I had. Why would someone do that to another human being? For ... I don't really know the reason." The Easters are free on 20-thousand bail each and scheduled to be arraigned next month.
