Firefighters say they are Making Progress To Gain Control Of Wyoming’s Russells Camp Fire
Converse County, Wyoming (CNN) Firefighters in Wyoming say they're making progress against the Russells Camp fire burning through Converse County.
However, they say the blaze is only five-percent contained. Cooler temperatures and lighter winds have worked to their advantage, slowing the fire's growth. That may change, as forecasters say temperatures in central Wyoming are about to heat up. Some 28-hundred acres have burned so far. The fire was sparked last Sunday afternoon. The cause of the fire is being investigated. Comments ( |
