Utah Residents Return To Their Homes Following Wildfire
Those evacuated by wildfires in Utah have returned home. The Quail Fire in Alpine, Utah started Tuesday afternoon.... threatening nearby homes. The fire spread over more than two-thousand acres and forced hundreds to leave. Officials say rain Thursday helped crews get ahead of the fire.
One evacuee says she is relieved to be home. Such a welcome sight. To come home and find rain and the smell of rain instead of the smell of smoke... it's an answer to prayers that is beyond words. The fire continues to burn... with crews actively fighting to contain it. Comments ( |
