Lettuce Recall Over Salmonella Concerns
Caliornia/Nevada (CNN) Some lettuce lovers in California and Nevada are being told to take a close look at their vegetable crispers.
Pacific International Marketing is voluntarily recalling cases of bulk romaine lettuce because of possible salmonella contamination. They were sold at Vons and Pavilions stores in bulk produce bins between July second and fourth. The lettuce was banded with red twist ties reading "Safeway." The Food and Drug Administration says there haven't been any illnesses reported. No carton or bagged romaine lettuce are impacted by this recall. Comments ( |
