Nike Drops Paterno Name From Child Center
Beaverton, Oregon (CNN) Nike says it's renaming its Joe Paterno Child Development Center.
The child care center is at its headquarters in Oregon.
Nike's president says the name change is in response to a report on Penn State's handling of university's child sex abuse scandal.
Former assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky was convicted last month of sexually abusing boys over a 15-year period.
An internal review was released Thursday.
It found the most powerful leaders at Penn State showed "total and consistent disregard" for victims while covering up sexual attacks by Sandusky.
It also found longtime head football coach Joe Paterno could have stopped the attacks, had he done more.
Paterno died from cancer in January.
Nike has not said what they will rename the center.
