Large Landslide Buries Three Homes
Johnson’s Landing, British Columbia (CNN) - A landslide buried three homes and left up to six people unaccounted for in the Canadian province of British Columbia.
Thursday's landslide happened near the community of Johnson's Landing. The area has no cellphone service -- so officials have not been able to reach the residents whose homes were affected. And it's unknown if the unaccounted for people were home at the time of the landslide. A helicopter, canine teams and an underwater rescue team are being used in the response. Comments ( |
