Paddleboat Vs. Pirate Ship Caught On Camera
St. Helens, Oregon (CNN) You're watching a steam tug boat called the sternwheeler Portland -- it was part of the weekend's Maritime Heritage Festival.
It starts to back up, inching closer to the dock, when all of a sudden, you can see it start to collide with a replica pirate ship. This happened around 5pm Friday evening, and both boats had people on board. No one was hurt, but Marine Patrol officials had to pump water out of the smaller pirate ship to keep it from sinking. The Coast Guard is currently investigating Friday's collision. Comments ( |
