Mom Arrested In Connection To Toddler’s Death
Turlock, California (CNN) - A California mother is charged with murder and child endangerment in the death of her two-year-old daughter. 25-year-old Brandy Devine was arrested at her Turlock home Monday.
A neighbor says she heard screams coming from the house that afternoon and ran over. She says she found Devine's two-year-old daughter in her crib and the girl appeared to have been dead for awhile. "I tried asking her. I said, 'Brandy, what happened what happened? What happened?' She goes, 'I don't know. I don't know.' I go, 'Well, when was the last time you checked on the baby?' And she was just mumbling 'I don't know, I don't know. I think it was last night.'" The child's cause of death has not been released. Devine is being held without bail. Comments ( |
