House Falls On Construction Worker
Galveston Texas (CNN) - A construction worker pulling off rotten wood from a house had to be rescued when the foundation suddenly collapsed. It happened in Galveston, Texas Wednesday afternoon. The house had been raised about six feet off the ground. Officials say the worker was trapped under it for nearly an hour. Crews had to use a forklift to help in the rescue. A neighbor saw it all happen. "I did not see any movement in him, nothing, hands legs nothing no movement hope he makes it all right." The worker's condition hasn't been released. The homeowner says he just bought the house a few days ago and it has major termite and storm damage. No word on what caused the collapse.
