Facebook Voting Voter Registration Plan Unveiled In Washington State
Seattle, Washington (CNN) Facebook is helping some Americans vote -- and telling their friends about it!
The social network is about to launch an application helping adults in Washington State register to vote. Washington voters will be able to sign up through the Washington Secretary of State facebook page. There, an app will access a voter's information like name and date of birth to start the process. State officials say Facebook won't be able to access any personal voter information. The state is teaming up with Facebook and Microsoft to make the process possible. Comments ( |
