A Small Plane Registered A Former Olympian Crashes In Arizona Killing Three People
Sedona, Arizona (CNN) A plane crashed today in Sedona, Arizona, killing all three people on board. Authorities say the plane tumbled down a hill at the end of the runway on takeoff and burst into flames. The small, twin-engine aircraft was registered to Patrick Porter of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Porter is a former Olympic long distance runner who ran in the 1984 and 1988 summer games. He's married to fellow U-S Olympic team member high jumper Trish King. The victims in the crash have not yet been identified and federal officials are investigating.
