Authorities Net 74 Pounds Of Meth In Drug Bust
Vancouver, Washington (CNN) Authorities in Washington state seized 74 pounds of methamphetamine from an apartment in Vancouver.
The drugs have an estimated street value of nearly a million dollars. Agents say the apartment was used as a safe house by a Mexican drug trafficking ring. "This methamphetamines actually tied to south of the border and it's been trafficked up through California and up here to Vancouver." Police also seized 45-thousand dollars in cash, two containers of methamphetamine oil, four firearms and four vehicles. Two men were arrested in connection with the bust.
