Motel Room Standoff Leaves One Man Dead
Casper, Wyoming (CNN) - This is the scene of a SWAT standoff ended with a man dead in Wyoming.
Police responded to a 9-1-1 call, Tuesday morning. When they knocked on the door of a motel room, somebody on the other side of the door told them there were hostages inside. Officials say all six people inside the room either knew of each other or considered themselves close friends. After police negotiations, five people eventually left the room. The other was found inside, dead of an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound. Several schools near the motel were locked down for much of the day. Comments ( |
