Several Hundred Earthquakes Hit East Of San Diego
Brawley, California (CNN) - Several hundred earthquakes hit California, Sunday afternoon.
The swarm of earthquakes did a fair amount of damage in Brawley, California, but did little damage overall.
The swarm was centered east of San Diego, just north of the U-S/Mexico border.
Most of the temblors were low-intensity; the strongest registered at a magnitude of 5-point-5.
No injuries were reported.
Sunday's swarm won't be the last of the activity.
Seismologists expect thousands more over the next several days.
