Overturned Semi Blocks Portion of Highway 33 In Butte County

Butte County, Idaho (KMVT-TV) A portion of State highway 33 in Butte County was closed for about 7 and a half hours last night after a Semi Truck hauling grain partially overturned. The Idaho State police along with the Butte County Sheriff’s office were called to milepost 15 on highway 33 at about 7pm. They say Dexter Hill, 28 of Pocatello was southbound in a semi hauling two trailers full of grain. Hill drove off the right side of the road and hit a culvert overturning his vehicle and detaching the rear most trailer, police say. South State Highway 33 was fully blocked for about 7.5 hours and the north lanes were partially blocked for four hours. The Idaho Transportation Department was also called to the scene to help with traffic control.
