Santa Clara Residents Clean Up From Flooding
Santa Clara, Utah (CNN) - People impacted by flooding in Santa Clara, Utah are cleaning up.
A retention pond dam burst on Tuesday after heavy rains. One woman shows how high the mud and water were in her family room. She says about 75 volunteers showed up at her home to help dig through eight inches of mud to save her valuables and memories. It just goes to show the caliber of people that live here, because they rally around and they don't care who you are. They just know you're in trouble and they're there. Barbara Johnson says her family can't afford to rebuild their home to how it was before the flood, but will do what they can. Comments ( |
