Dozens Of Sick Horses Seized On Washington Ranch
Pierce County, Washington (CNN) - Animal Control officers seized dozens of sick horses from this ranch in Washington state.
Officers serving a search warrant found 39 horses on the property living in deplorable conditions. Many of the animals had medical issues, injuries, and were very thin. Authorities say some of the barns the horses were living in were filthy and had no lighting or ventilation. The animal owners could face animal cruelty charges. The investigation is ongoing.
