One Person Injured, Portion Of I-15 Closed Following Accident

Hamer, Idaho (KMVT-TV) - One person was injured after he lost control of the pickup he was driving, rolling several times near Hamer in Eastern Idaho. Idaho State police say the accident happened about 2:45 pm Sunday on Interstate 15 near milepost 157. Craig Coates, 55 of Saratoga Springs Utah was southbound when he drove off the left side of the road. He over-corrected and went off the right side of the road where his vehicle overturned and rolled several times. Coats was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected from his vehicle. He was transported by Air Idaho to eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. I-15 in the area, was closed for about 45 minutes. The crash is still under investigation.
