California Real Estate Executive Charged With Killing Wife; Says He Didn't Do It
Santa Ana, California (CNN) - A Southern California real estate executive charged with killing his wife says he didn't do it.
48-year-old Peter Gregory Chadwick pleaded not guilty Monday to one count of murder for financial gain. Prosecutors say Chadwick killed his wife Quee last week as they fought over a possible divorce and finances. Her body has not been found. Police say there was blood and evidence of a struggle inside the couple's home. Chadwick was arrested in San Diego, not far from the Mexican border. According to the L-A Times, he told police another man killed his wife and forced him to load her body onto a truck and drive his own car to the border. Chadwick faces a maximum of life in prison if convicted. Comments ( |
