California Wildfire Threatening Homes, Forcing Evacuations
Santa Barbara, California (CNN) - Firefighters in Southern California are battling a small, but dangerous wildfire. The so-called "Lookout Fire" began Wednesday morning just outside Santa Barbara.
Firefighters have had to evacuate 100 homes and businesses in the fire's path. Local and federal firefighters are working to knock down the flames from the air and the ground. Crews have contained around 40-percent of the 25 acre blaze. One firefighter suffered a minor leg injury, but there have been no other injuries. Right now, firefighters are not sure what sparked the wildfire. Comments ( |
