University Of Phoenix To Close 115 Locations
Phoenix, Arizona (CNN) - The University of Phoenix has announced plans to shut down 115 of its locations across the U.S.
90 learning resource centers and 25 campuses will close. The company that owns the school, Apollo group, says it's all part of a plan to cut 300-million-dollars in operating costs by 20-14. About 800 employees will lose their jobs. The changes will directly affect about 13-thousand students. They'll be encouraged to continue their studies online or at other locations. Comments ( |
