Crews Search For Missing Woman
Sandy, Oregon (CNN) - A missing Starbucks employee is the focus of a massive search in Oregon. Whitney Heichel was reported missing after she failed to show up for work Tuesday. The 21-year-old's vehicle was found abandoned Wednesday in a Walmart parking lot. Police say the vehicle's passenger side window was busted out, but there were no signs of the missing woman. Heichel's husband says he's worried about his wife's safety. She could probably very easily be overpowered. She's a fighter but you know if you're taken by surprise you know, you know. So many scenarios run through my mind I don't, I try not to entertain him.
Police say Surveillance video captured Heichel's car at a local gas station, but they've yet to determine who was driving the vehicle. Forensics investigators are combing over the car for clues into the young woman's disappearance. Comments ( |
