"Binder Full Of Women" Costume For Spirit Week

By Paul Johnson

One Arizona teacher used spirit week at her school to make a political statement... with a costume. Leslie Baker went as a "binder full of women." She says she was hoping the costume would raise awareness of the issues in the upcoming election and the presidential debate.
The costume, of course, refers to the comment Mitt Romney made in the second debate, last week.
He made the remark while trying to highlight his background in hiring women during his tenure as the governor of Massachusetts. The comment drew some criticism. Baker says she wanted people to see the humor in it.
