Suspect in Virginia bombings captured in Montana
Great Falls, Montana (CNN) - A man wanted for bombing three Virginia homes was captured in Montana Thursday after a police chase.
25-year-old Laurence Alan Stewart the second was arrested after police say he threw several pipe bombs at officers, got out of his car with a handgun and tried to run away. Stewart is accused of detonating pipe bombs Tuesday at the Virginia homes of his ex-girlfriend and two officers who were investigating him. No one was hurt in the explosions. Stewart faces a list of charges in Virginia, including two counts of attempted capital murder, arson and possessing a weapon of terror. Comments ( |
