Tomales Bay, California (CNN) - A day on the water became dangerous after a boat in Northern California capsized with seven people onboard.
Authorities say when they got to Tomales Bay they found five people clinging to the hull of the 25-foot boat.
As they brought the people to shore, they realized that two children were trapped inside the cabin of the boat which was filling up with water.
Firefighters were able to cut a hole in the hull of the boat large enough to get them out.
Authorities say the children were airlifted to a hospital.
