California's Three-Strikes Sentencing Amended

Kern County, California (CNN) - Thousands of felons jailed under California's three-strikes sentencing law may soon be eligible for release.
Voter support of Proposition 36 amends the three strikes law so that only offenders who've committed three serious or violent crimes are eligible for life sentences.
