Southern California Firefighters Battle Three Alarm Fire At Wholesale Market
Burbank, California (CNN) - California firefighters worked to put out a three alarm blaze this morning at huge wholesale cigarette store.
Crews attacked the fire before daybreak in the Burbank area outside Los Angeles. Firefighters immediately took a defensive mode battling the flames to keep the fire from spreading. Officials say the store also contained cases of small CO-2 cartridges that became missiles when flames reached them. In addition to tobacco products, the wholesale market also sells restaurant supplies and candy. Investigators say no one was hurt. Comments ( |
